Bisgaard was founded in 2005 by Marianne and Henrik Bisgaard, who from Aarhus design children's and women's shoes with a focus on clean, sustainable materials and highly qualified craftsmanship.
Bisgaard works with skilled and highly qualified craftsmen from all over the world, who combine the Scandinavian mindset with global and years-long traditions in shoe production. Bisgaard designs shoes from natural materials in e.g. vegetable tanned leather, 100% wool, natural rubber and 100% cotton – all with a sustainable mindset.
