Karin Carlander launched TEXTILE No. in the summer of 2013. The goal was to bring the handwoven designs into a modern and contemporary context.
The collection is based on three simple principles: sustainability, multi-functionality and a mix-and-match color palette. The textiles are designed to last, both aesthetically and functionally.
TEXTIL No. Holds the Masters of Linen® certificate. All textiles in the collection are woven from 100% European linen spun from naturally grown flax - irrigated exclusively by rainwater. All manufacturing processes are carried out in Europe: cultivation, spinning, dyeing, machine weaving and sewing.
